How to Change the Alternate/ Password Recovery Email?

  • Navigate to your Microsoft Account page
    • Sign in if prompted to do so using your Lakeland issued email (username@lakeland.edu)
  • Select 'Update Info' under the 'Security Info' tab
  • The page should show you the different sign-in methods
  • From this page, select the change button on the right of the email
  • Enter a new email and press 'Next'
  • A code will be sent to your new email
  • Enter the code in the box and select 'Next'
  • Your new email will appear on the 'Security Info' page now
