Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required for the remote gateway (https://remote.lakeland.edu) and only push notifications with the Microsoft Authenticator App or a phone call will work in order to successfully login.
There are two ways of accessing Lakeland's VPN connection from off campus. Connecting to the VPN at the login screen allows an individual to login to a domain joined computer without requiring the individual to have logged in once before on campus. The VPN allows access to applications and network shares that require a connection back to Lakeland owned resources.
