Setting Default MFA Authentication Method to Push Notifications or Phone Call

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required for the remote gateway (https://remote.lakeland.edu) and only push notifications with the Microsoft Authenticator App or a phone call will work in order to successfully login.

1. Sign-in to your account by going to the website of https://outlook.office365.com and login with your Lakeland credentials.
2. Once you are signed-in, select your name or initials in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Then select View account. 
3. Select Security Info on the left-hand side of the screen. Select Change under Default sign-in method. 
4. From the drop down menu, select the Microsoft Authenticator - notification method to be the default then select Confirm. MFA is now required when signing into the remote gateway (https://remote.lakeland.edu) and you're MFA method needs to be set to a push notification.
