MFA Number Matching

Summary

Number matching is now a part of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in order to prevent MFA fatigue attacks. When cybercriminals flood a specific person with MFA mobile push notifications, the targeted individual may be more prone to approve a MFA request that was initiated by the cybercriminals. Microsoft has enabled this now to make accounts more secure.
